Tiffany practices Canadian and U.S. securities and business law. She has been involved with equity financing, the sale of privately held businesses, public company reporting, reverse mergers, and IPOs. Tiffany advises entrepreneurs and small business clients on a variety of business law matters including capital structuring, leases and contracts, dispute resolution, and going public. Tiffany has experience working with clients in a broad range of industries including technology, resource exploration, media, hospitality, naturopathic medicine, and cannabis.
Tiffany carries extensive experience within the cannabis industry representing federally approved medicinal cannabis producers, dispensaries, cannabis tech companies, and online and store front retail etc. She is an active member of Women Grow, an organization led by female leaders in the cannabis industry. Tiffany is regularly a guest speaker on the topics of cannabis business law and the legal issues surrounding cannabis dispensaries. Tiffany has worked with a number of BC's craft cannabis producers to help prepare their businesses for legalization.
After graduating Cum Laude with a Law Degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, Tiffany was called to the Bar in Washington State in 2012 and to the Bar in British Columbia in 2014. Prior to law school Tiffany obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Industrial Relations, along with a Certificate of Human Resource Management, from Saint Mary’s University in 2006.
Tiffany founded and operated Buzz Media Ltd., an online student lifestyle magazine which she took public in 2007 on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board market in the United States. During law school, Tiffany served as the Senior Editor of the Western Michigan University Law Review, and had two of her papers published in the General Practitioner of Michigan.
Tiffany Walsh is co-founder and President of Bluenose Labs, a Cape Breton based company focused on becoming a globally recognized manufacturer and distributor of THC and CBD based products under the Cannabis Act.
